Who am I?
My name is Kirby, or at least it is on the internet. I'm a Black man from America, in my late twenties/early thirties. I'm gay, transgender, curiously kinky, and very goth. I was raised by a goth, a punk, and a comic book nerd, and you can really tell. There's a lot of fun stuff going on in my brain, disorder-wise, and some fun stuff going on with my body, health-wise. All to say, updates on the site might be sporadic. I also work a full time job, and have three cats, so creativity unfortunately takes a back seat in my life a lot of the time, though this site is an attempt to recitfy this.
I do a lot of creative stuff, none of it masterfully, but all of it passionately. I primarily consider myself a writer, working on both fanfiction and original fiction proejcts. I also knit, when my wrists allow me to. I've dabbled in photography, cross stitch, and pixel art. For the state of completeness, I'll put up as much of my creations as I can find.
What am I into?
I have always been a big reader, though capitalism is trying to rob me of my precious reading time and energy. These days, I primarily read sci-fi and fantasy, gay romantic novellas, and political theory and history. I also have almost obsessive interest in pregnancy and childbirth, and deep sea marine biology, and I read a lot about that as well, when I can get my hands on those books.

From a young age, I have always been into rock music. Again, my mother was a true goth, and her first two husbands were in a punk and rock band respectively. I was raised to enjoy music that makes you sad. I'm also getting pretty big into metal, because I like the ear-feel, and I've got a soft spot for folk. For what I hope are obvious reasons, I vastly prefer listening to Black people in any genre.
